Blog Reading

I find that I get great enjoyment out of it. I mean who doesn’t? It’s like being a Peeping Tom with permission or people watching in the airport, but you get snippets of their thoughts right there, in the open for everyone to read! It truly appeals to the People Watching Person in me. I love getting to see other people’s point of view, whether I agree with it or not.

Anyway, I hope to find more blogs that are interesting to read with grammar and spelling that’s checked. I wrote this blog specifically in Pages (Word for a Mac) so that I could see any mistakes and correct them before putting it out there on the WWW. After proofreading it I pasted it into this window...3 times at least (I had a little bit of trouble getting my actual post to show up). Even though my grammar and spelling are not great on the fly, it's a pet peeve of mine to read anything that has blaring errors where the author didn't even try to proofread it before publishing it. Even just reading over it once or twice would help. I guess I’m a little bit over-keen like that.

Now that I’ve posted this, I’m worried about what others will think. Then again, I doubt anyone will even notice my blog for at least the first year of me having it. So, it’ll be pretty much anonymous until then...after a year you get a pardon for anything you said a year ago, right?
